Source of Joy

There is a secret whence cometh the source of Joy 

There is a hill, and a valley O so low

Take me to the cross of Calvary,    take me down to the valley of Achor…

Won't you be my source of all joy from there, 

and let thy blood wash over all my filthy stains,

and won't you make my sins so white as snow. 

I need you Jesus to come and make me whole!

Oh Saviour won't you take me back to the source of Joy,

Renew in me the joy of Thy Salvation

Take me back to the hill of Calvary  where you died for me, to save me, where you shed your blood to set me free...

Won't you be my source of peace from there, 

And fill my soul with Spirit of thy love

And though the billows come rollin over my head, 

You'll give me a song in the late night hours...
