About

I was born in 1988, and born again in 2005. I was falsely converted at 8 years old after hearing my dad read the 13th chapter of the book of Revelation. I had a true sense ministered to me of my sin and how that, if it came down to it, I most certainly would take that "mark of the beast" than lose my life for Jesus Christ. I was undone. Sadly, my dad was unconverted himself, so I was undone only to be served a false gospel. No faith by the miraculous power of God, no repentance given through the godly sorrow of the Spirit of God, no power to live godly, no fellowship of the Spirit, and (most importantly) no Christ.

For the greater part of the next 8 years I gradually increased in the knowledge of God, had many experiences with God (in his merciful strivings with sinners), had many answers to prayer, etc., but all the while was unsaved from the reigning power of sin in my life which set me at enmity against God. Nevertheless, according to God's free grace, he came to me in the 16th year of my life, in the middle of the month of January. Hallelujah for that fateful month! "A wild ass used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind at her pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her" (Jer. 2:24).

For the first time by the faith of the gospel I laid hold of the throne of God, and found his grace and mercy pardoning my hell deserving soul! For the first time the word (previously dark and obscure - a dead letter) was quickened to my soul and became my meat and drink day and night, indeed. I became, to put it into a word, a seeker of the Lord, to the praise of his marvelous and matchless grace! I preached (according to the call of God in my life) for the first time on the third day and knew what it was to be filled with the Holy Ghost for the first time. How impressive - O blessed work, never to be forgotten! - to feel the mighty wind of God's Holy Spirit rushing through my mortal frame, filling me from the crown of my head to the sole of my foot!

Hallelujah, the work is done! Hallelujah, the work has just begun! I am saved, am being saved, and shall be saved at last by his sovereign mercy. Amen.

Thank you, Jesus.

Yours For Christ's Sake,
Jake Gardner
